At the four-day Congress, selected participants from all over Europe had a chance to come together in this culturally diverse and politically charged Central-European capital and discuss their visions of the future of Europe.
The Budapest Congress was organized around the idea and theme of “CONTEMPORARY SPACE”: your understanding of and role in virtual, social, cultural, and all kinds of public spaces in Europe which is being re-defined the very moment you are reading this text.
The thematic priorities of the Budapest Congress entitled “(Re)Claim Your Space in Europe” were:
- freedoms, rights and liabilities in the digital age,
- urban future and
- education for the future – the future of education
Additionally, special focus was placed on the current developments in Ukraine and its implications for Europe, and the asylum policies of the EU.
